Anne ‘Shine’ West is an artist living and working in Ensenada, B.C. Mexico. Anne started painting in oils in 2005 and sold her first couple of paintings (seascapes) at a show at the Maritime Museum in Santa Barbara, CA. held by S.C.A.P.E. Concerned about the toxicity of the solvents used in oil painting, she switched to acrylics and found that she liked this medium much more due to its quick dry time.

Anne’s art has shown with S.C.A.P.E in Santa Barbara in several shows there while she was an acting board member. Her seascapes and landscapes are vibrant and alive with color.

2014 has found her exploring abstracts and she recently had a show in Ensenada called ‘Nueva Actitud’ (New Attitude) featuring her abstract paintings.
